The JH0101 is equipped with the NH38A, an automatic mechanical movement with 3-hander and no date, known for its solidity and durability.
Step 1: The JH0101 has been designed with a screw-down crown to enhance water resistance. The crown is locked in its normal state, and when adjusting the time, it should be rotated counterclockwise until the crown automatically and gently pops out, indicating that unlocking is complete.
This is the default gear. Turning the crown clockwise winds the movement and stores the kinetic energy. Turning the crown counterclockwise has no function.
Step 2: Pinch the crown and gently pull it outward, feel the crown advancing outward by one click, this is the first stop.
Turn the crown clockwise and the minute hand rotates clockwise;
Turn the crown counterclockwise and the minute hand rotates counterclockwise;
The hour hand also follows the minute hand, thus adjusting to the correct time.
Each person's ability to feel is different, if you pull the crown outwards and don't feel any feedback, it may already be in the first gear, rotate the crown to check if the minute hand will follow the rotation.
Step 3: After adjustment, push back the crown and turn it clockwise until it locks.
(This step is particularly important, as a common cause of water ingress into a watch is a crown that is not locked).
PS: Even if you do not wear the watch for a long time, lock the crown to prevent moisture in the air from entering the watch.
